Are there different levels of vaginal Atrophy ?

My doc poked around my vagina and said I have slight atrophy , getting some vaginal estrogen ya ! However I’m pretty uncomfortable, WTF is a more than slight ? Does it get worse ? Or will I stay at this level? Does every woman get this If she can tell by looking and poking , what does my vagina look like ????!!! Can partners tell, I feel crazy insecure about my body , I feel like I’m going through puberty all over again, I honestly didn’t know it was something you could see or feel
